EHS provides short term Clinical Case Management and supportive counseling as a service of our Case Management Program. Services are available for 3-6 months and focus on issues of support around HIV status, family, individual and partner issues; issues relating to grief, health & wellness, substance use and other emotional issues impacting the individual or family system. Clients can be connected to long-term counseling and psychiatric services by mutual agreement and referral. Spectrum Human Services maintain a licensed out-patient service on site at 206 South Elmwood Avenue to provide enhanced Mental Health Care and referrals to the large mental health system,
EHS also provides short-term supportive counseling, referral and linkage to individuals who are HIV+ but not currently enrolled in an EHS program. Agencies working with persons that could benefit from this service may call (716) 847-2441 to make a referral. HIV+ individuals may also self-refer to this service.
Various Support Groups are offered for HIV+ individuals throughout the program year. Please call EHS for information meeting times and location of current support groups.
There is no charge for any of the above mentioned services.
