Supportive Services

In the early years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, staff and resources were focused on End-of-Life issues such as care of children, living wills, insurance and Hospice care.  With the introduction of various categories of virus suppressing drug regimens, the emphasis of care and supportive services has been on adherence to medical care, quality of life issues and the maintenance of a lifestyle that compliments care.  Additionally, as the epidemic increasingly affects poorer individuals (or makes infected individuals poor by incapacity to work) increasing attention is required to provide appropriate support both material and financial.

Evergreen Health Services offers a variety of supportive services - free of charge - to individuals and families affected by HIV and AIDS. Many of these services are available in both English and Spanish. For more information click on the list of services found to the left of this screen or contact us at 716-847-2441.
