Employment Assistance is available to all case managed clients. The employment assistance program, “CHANCES” offers assistance needed for the clients to enter the work force or enter a job skills program that will enhance current skills or provide new ones.
The Program links the client with confidential employment services and job skills training programs, which will assess their qualifications and skills and link them with the program or employer that best meets their needs. Programs chosen will be flexible and sensitive to clients’ individual needs to ensure success.
“CHANCES” gives clients the control of their destiny in the work force and provides them with the support needed to succeed. No disability should stop an individual from improving their quality of life and being self-sufficient.
Additionally, free legal assistance will be made available to ensure that any current or future employer will maintain the highest level of sensitivity and confidentiality. No employer needs to know an individual’s HIV status.
